Yes. Once you've linked a parent, you can message them directly inside CampusRaven, no advisor needed. Open Messages from the menu, or use 'Message my parent' on your dashboard. You can attach files to a message too, so you can share documents back and forth.

How do I see my student's progress?

Your student must add your email to their Parent emails field in My Profile. Once linked, you can log in and see their saved colleges, upcoming deadlines, milestones, and more in the Parent Portal. The Parent Portal now also shows your student's upcoming deadlines, application progress, and an affordability snapshot, alongside their college list and tasks.

Can I edit my student's data?

Parents have read-only access to most fields. Students retain full edit control over their own profile, college list, and essays.

Can I purchase a subscription for my student?

Yes. You can use your own payment method to purchase a Student Plus or Student Premium plan on your student's behalf. Contact us at support@campusraven.com if you need help.

Can I message my student and share documents?

Yes. Once your student is linked, you can message them from your Parent Portal or the Messages tab, no advisor required. Any file attached to a message is collected in a shared Files list inside the conversation, so documents like essays or financial-aid forms never get lost in the thread.

Advisor plans let you manage 10 to 50 student seats (depending on tier), send branded progress reports, log CRM notes, schedule and track meetings, review and annotate student essays, and send bulk messages to students and parents.
